Anonymous: Looks like a texture of a head. In games, the texture is often projected onto a 3D object with 3D object vertex -> 2D texture vertex mappings. This is pretty flexible, but you still need to have a good mapping that won't distort, and the texture shown above looks pretty good as far as preventing distortion.
Not sure exactly why the texture is showing outside of the context of a 3D object, though. Odd bug.
Shish: Yeah, somehow the "film grain effect" texture and the "some random guy's head" texture got flipped >_<

artanis: Heh. When I had win2000 I would change the icons all the time.
Though once I accidentally deleted the folder I had them all it, while they were applied... Windows silently defaulted. Several other programs silently segfaulted. Took me half a year to figure out what the problem was. (The weren't segfaults, but it rhymes and gets the point across, so I claim artistic license.) |
